Removing shadow table functionality from DB2 environments

Removing shadow table functionality from DB2® environments consists of uninstalling all the IBM® InfoSphere® Change Data Capture software components, removing database objects, and restoring database settings.

Procedure

To remove the shadow tables functionality from a DB2 environment:

  1. Uninstall all the InfoSphere CDC software components. For more information, see Uninstalling IBM InfoSphere Change Data Capture software components for shadow tables.
  2. Remove all database objects that are associated with shadow tables and reset the DB2 server configuration. For more information, see Removing shadow table functionality from a DB2 server.
