This parameter informs you whether or not a rollforward
recovery is required, and where it is required.

This parameter can indicate one of the following
states:
- DATABASE, meaning that a rollforward
recovery procedure is required for this database
- TABLESPACE, meaning that one or more
table spaces need to be rolled forward
- NO, meaning that the database is
usable and no rollforward recovery is required.
The recovery (using
ROLLFORWARD DATABASE)
must complete before you can access the database or table space.
