New scalar functions are added in DB2® Version 10.1 to
increase DB2 compatibility.
- INSTRB
- The INSTRB function returns the starting position, in bytes, of
a string within another string.
- TO_SINGLE_BYTE
- The TO_SINGLE_BYTE function returns a string in which multi-byte
characters are converted to the equivalent single-byte character where
an equivalent character exists.
- TIMESTAMPDIFF
- The TIMESTAMPDIFF function returns an estimated number of intervals
of the type defined by the first argument, based on the difference
between two timestamps
