WLM environment names that do not meet the following criteria are not allowed. A WLM environment name may contain up to eighteen characters. The first character of a WLM environment name must either be an alphabetic character (A-Z) or a standard alphabetic extender (in the United States, the standard alphabetic extenders are '#', '@', '$'). For characters two through eighteen, a character may be an alphabetic character (A-Z), an alphabetic extender ('#', '@', '$'), a numeric character (0-9), or the underscore character ('_').
