Unable to start or stop the Jazz™ for Service Management server after upgrading IBM® WebSphere® Application Server from Version 8.5.0.1 to Version 8.5.5.4

Symptoms

Unable to start or stop the Jazz for Service Management server after upgrading IBM WebSphere Application Server from Version 8.5.0.1 to Version 8.5.5.4.

Resolving the problem

  1. If any java process is running, terminate the process.
  2. Run the following commands sequentially from JAZZSM_PROFILE_LOCATION/bin:

    For example:

    1. /opt/IBM/JazzSM/profile/bin directory
    2. ./clearClassCache.sh
    3. ./osgiCfgInit.sh

  3. Restart the server.
