Working with tasks by using the command-line interface

You can view and run tasks by using the Administration Services command-line interface, that is, adminservices.

Viewing tasks from the command line
You can view tasks by using the Administration Services command-line interface viewTasks operation. The Administration Services command-line interface can display any or all tasks that are deployed to the Administration Services and registered with the administration service provider.
Viewing task details from the command line
You can view the details of a task by using the Administration Services command-line interface viewTaskDetails operation. The command-line interface displays information about the task in the command window, including any messages or errors.
Running tasks from the command line
You can run tasks by using the Administration Services command-line interface runTasks operation. You can run a single task or multiple tasks that are based on the specified filter.
