- Verify that the host name or IP address that you specified for
the Data Collector is correct.
- Verify that the Managing Server can resolve the host name or IP
address of the Data Collector.
- Verify that the firewall is enabled on the Data Collector machine.
- Verify that the RMI Port Number and Controller RMI Port Number
are not blocked by firewall software on the Data Collector host machine.
