Explanation
Configuration entries were
found that might prevent the DB2® installation
from completing successfully. These configuration entries might have
been left over from a previous DB2 installation
that was not removed completely.
Operator response
Complete the following
steps to clean up the configuration so that the DB2 installation can complete successfully.
- Check the /etc/services file for DB2 entries.
Remove those entries if DB2 has
been uninstalled from this system.
- Check the default users of DB2 or
user home. Remove those user and user home.
- Check the default DB2 installation
directory. Remove the directory.
