IBM InfoSphere Streams Version 4.1.1
Configuring Streams Studio
You can configure your development environment for developing Streams applications and toolkits.
- Adding domain connections
To use Streams Studio with IBM® InfoSphere® Streams, you must add at least one domain connection. - Adding toolkits to Streams Explorer
Toolkits contain SPL elements, such as operators, functions, and namespaces. You package toolkits so that SPL application developers can reuse operators and functions that are defined in other toolkits. - Adding governance catalogs to Streams Explorer
Use governance catalogs to provide information governance for your Streams applications. - Setting up for C++ operator development
Set up your development environment for creating C++ operators by creating SPL projects, C/C++ projects, and remote C/C++ projects. - Configuring the connection for remote development
You can install Streams Studio on a local Linux or Windows system that acts as a client and install InfoSphere Streams on a remote Linux system that acts as a server. To connect to the remote Linux system where InfoSphere Streams is installed, you must configure a connection.
