rmv_admin command
Use the -rmv command flag with the rmv_admin command to create and refresh resource metric viewer reports.
Location
JazzSM_Home/rmv/admin
Where JazzSM_Home is the location where the Jazz for Service Management Components are installed. By default, /opt/IBM/JazzSM.
Syntax
Use this syntax to create Resource Metric Viewer reports for a specified data model or for all available data models. The model must be deployed before a Resource Metric Viewer report can be created.
rmv_admin.sh -rmv -create -pack [ pack_name | -all ] -logins password_fileUse this syntax to refresh Resource Metric Viewer reports following a change in the underlying model, for example when new model version deployed to the server.
rmv_admin.sh -rmv -update_metrics -pack pack_name | -all ] -logins password_fileUse this syntax to refresh Resource Metric Viewer reports following a change in the model templates, for example to create custom Resource Metric Viewer report templates.
rmv_admin.sh -rmv -update_reports -pack [ pack_name | -all ] -logins password_fileUse this syntax to list all the published models currently available in content store including the CDM models, with details such as the model name, the version, and the installation time.
rmv_admin.sh -rmv -list -logins password_fileUse this syntax to list the all the published CDM-less models currently available in content store, with details such as the model name, the version, and the installation time.
rmv_admin.sh -rmv -list_nas_model -logins password_fileUse this syntax to list the all the published models that are Resource Metric Viewer enabled in content store, with details such as the model name, the version, and the installation time.
rmv_admin.sh -rmv -list_enabled -logins password_fileUse this syntax to remove all obsolete Resource Metric Viewer reports from the system. Run this command when you remove a model or Resource Metric Viewer report from the server.
rmv_admin.sh -rmv -removeParameters
When a parameter includes spaces, enclose the complete parameter in double quotation marks or escape the parameter.
- pack_name
- The name of a Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager common pack data model in the data model repository. When you are listing multiple models leave a space between each data model name.
- password_file
- An encrypted credentials file containing a Jazz for Service Management administrative user name and password, and database user name and password.
- all
- If you want to refresh or create reports for all data models in folder.
