Manually edit the summary name in a data availability model if the summary name exceeds 24 characters

When you generate the data availability components, you might receive an error message:

Causes

You receive this error message when the summary name is longer than 24 characters.

Resolving the problem

Manually edit the summary name in the generated da_summary.xml file to reduce the number of characters to less than 24. For example, the name appears as follows: DA_HUAWEI_GSM_M3UA_LINKSET.

When you edit the name, make sure that you do not remove the DA_<Vendor>_<Technology> part from the name. For example, do not remove or change DA_HUAWEI_GSM.
