There are several methods of starting and stopping stubs,
and you can also modify and control stubs while they are running.
Starting stubs
Both IBM Rational Test Control Panel and IBM Rational Integration Tester can
be used to start stubs.
Scenarios
In IBM Rational Test Control Panel,
you can create scenarios, which are collections of configured stubs
that can be started and stopped together.
Stopping stubs
The following topics describe how to use IBM Rational Test Control Panel and IBM Rational Integration Tester to
stop stubs.
Modifying running stubs
If you are using IBM Rational Integration Tester to
run a stub, you can modify the stub while it is running.
Locking and unlocking environments
Locking a IBM Rational Test Control Panel environment
prevents other users from starting or stopping stubs in that environment.
View stub error messages
On IBM Rational Test Control Panel Environments
Dashboard page, if Error is displayed, resting your
mouse pointer over Error displays a message about
the error.
Viewing stub logs IBM Rational Test Control Panel enables IBM Rational Test Virtualization Server users
to view the console output of stubs that have been run in the currently
selected domain and environment.
Debugging message-based stubs
Use the Message Differences window or options available
within the stub console display to debug message-based stubs.
