Rational Integration Tester Pattern for PureApplication

Several patterns enable repeatable deployments of Rational® Integration Tester topologies to the cloud. With these patterns, you can accelerate the creation and configuration of Rational Integration Tester environments.

Patterns overview
Pattern support is provided for IBM® PureApplication. You use virtual system patterns to deploy fully configured and functioning Rational Integration Tester topology configurations to the cloud. The deployed instances are ready to use.
System requirements
Before you install patterns and shared services, ensure that your system meets all requirements.
Downloading and installing software images
The pattern types require installation images, which are available from Passport Advantage®.
Downloading and installing pattern types
To use a pattern, you must download its pattern type, and then install it on the appliance. The download package contains the pattern artifacts.
Preparing to deploy
Before you deploy a pattern, you might want to deploy the Red Hat Satellite Server instance, review patterns that require licenses, create a project results database, or add block storage to a pattern.
Deploying patterns
Use any of the available predefined patterns that are available with the pattern types to deploy Rational Integration Tester environments in the cloud. Patterns are deployed in an environment that contains a single IBM PureApplication processor.
Accessing deployed instances
After you deploy a virtual system pattern into the cloud, you can view the virtual system instance that was created, the Rational Integration Tester environment, and access its component parts.
Working with deployed instances
After you deploy a virtual system pattern, view the details about the deployed instance, including its status, the list of virtual machines that are provisioned on the cloud infrastructure for that deployment, and the logs that are generated during deployment. Use operations to monitor and manage the deployed instance.
Troubleshooting
Get assistance with diagnosing problems that you might have before, during, and after deployment of the pattern.
Applying fix packs to the virtual system patterns
You can apply the latest maintenance fixes. You can update your virtual system patterns with the fix packs that are released for the software image version that you are using. Applying fixes to a virtual system pattern affects all future deployments of that pattern.
