Manage the license key server by using operations from
the deployed instance. These operations include starting or stopping
the license key server instance, adding, removing or viewing licences,
enabling or disabling the firewall, and opening a port in the firewall.
Procedure
- Go to the Virtual System Instances page by clicking .
- From the list of instances on the Virtual System Instances
page, select IBM Rational License Key Server Pattern that
was deployed. The details of the deployed instance are displayed.
- Click Manage then Operations.
- Click RLKS.
The following
operations are available:
- Start RLKS
- Start the license server.
- Stop RLKS
- Stop the license server.
- Check RLKS Status
- Check the current status of the license server.
- Restart RLKS
- Restart the license server.
- Add License File
- Upload a license file.
- Delete License File
- Delete the license file.
- List all License Files
- Shows all license files available in the license server.
- List all Licenses
- Shows all licenses that the license server serves.
- Enable Firewall
- Enable the firewall if it is not already enabled.
- Disable Firewall
- Disable the firewall.
- Open Port in Firewall
- Open an additional port in the firewall.
- Select an operation and provide the required parameters,
and click Submit. The result is displayed in
the Operations Execution Results pane.
