Configuring Rational Test Control Panel to use HTTPS

In the Rational® Test Control Panel setup, HTTPS is disabled by default. In a secure environment, you might want to use HTTPS communication with Rational Test Control Panel. This topic provides instructions on how to generate a self-signed certificate for quick and easy implementation and how to configure Rational Test Control Panel to use SSL.

If you already have a company-trusted certificate authority, you should use an alternative certificate generation mechanism. The instructions for the configuration hold valid regardless of the process used for generating the certificates.

See Deploying virtual services using Rational Test Virtualization Server.
