The Rational® Test Workbench Eclipse
Client enables you to manage your Selenium Java tests. You can import
Selenium tests into the Test Navigator, view the scripts, modify them,
add them to compound tests, and run them.
Rational Test Workbench Eclipse
Client only supports Java-based Selenium scripts, such as JUnit 3
and 4, and Java main programs.
When you use
Rational Test Workbench Eclipse
Client to manage Selenium tests, you can do the following operations:
- Import Java projects containing Selenium tests into the Eclipse
Client
- Add Selenium tests to Test Workbench projects
- Add Selenium tests into larger workflows containing other tests
such as mobile and performance tests. Such larger workflows are called
compound tests.
- View and modify the JUnit scripts of Selenium tests that you imported
- Run Selenium tests from the Test Navigator
- Run compound tests that contain Selenium tests
- View test logs
The Rational Test Workbench Eclipse
Client provides a one-stop testing environment to work with Selenium
tests as well as other types of tests like mobile, HTTP, Citrix, SAP
and Socket tests. You can combine such different types of tests to
form part of a single larger workflow such as compound test. When
you run a compound test, its constituent tests are run in the sequence
defined in the Compound Test editor.
