Description

Rational® Test Workbench Eclipse Client is a component of Rational Test Workbench, which delivers end-to-end functional, performance, regression, and integration testing to address the quality challenges of highly complex and integrated applications. Rational Test Workbench Eclipse Client itself provides testing capabilities for mobile devices, browser-based web applications, and other test domains, such as Selenium, HTTP, SAP, Citrix, Socket, Siebel, and TN3270 applications. It also provides support for heterogeneous compound tests and test automation with keywords from Rational Quality Manager.

Note: Testing web applications on iOS devices and simulators with Rational Test Workbench v8.6.0.1 and v8.6.0.2 requires version 8.6.x of the IBM Rational Mobile Web Recorder, which you can download from the Apple App Store. There is no v8.6.0.x of the web recorder.

Known limitations

If you install Rational Test Workbench Eclipse Client on Macintosh OS, the IBM Rational Quality Manager and IBM Rational Team Concert jazz clients are not available with the installer. To use the jazz clients on Macintosh, you must download the P2 update site zips from www.jazz.net and install them via native Eclipse.
