Upgrading to a new release of test workbench

When you upgrade IBM® Rational® Test Workbench Eclipse Client , you should also upgrade IBM Rational Test Workbench Mobile Client so that you can connect them both.

About this task

Use IBM Installation Manager to upgrade Rational Test Workbench Eclipse Client . To verify its version, in Windows, go to the Start menu and click All Programs > IBM Installation Manager > View Installed Packages.

After upgrading Rational Test Workbench Eclipse Client , you must uninstall and install the Rational Test Workbench Mobile Client.

For information about uninstalling the mobile test client, see Uninstalling the Android mobile test client.

For information about installing the Android mobile test client, see Installing Android mobile test client and for installing iOS mobile test client on simulator, see Installing the mobile test client on the iOS Simulator.

Note: You need not uninstall and install browser-based client for iOS.

To verify the version of Android mobile test client, in your device or simulator, tap Settings > Apps and tap IBM Rational Test Workbench Mobile Client.
