To create a Disk pool to use with IBM® Content
Manager OnDemand:
Procedure
Access IBM Navigator for i.
Click Content Manager OnDemand,
and verify the current instance.
Click Disk Pools and then click Add.
Identify an IBM i
Auxiliary Storage Pool (ASP) number that the archive storage management
(ASM) process may use as storage media when migrating archived data.
For the example, specify the Pool number as
3. You may also provide a brief description for the disk pool.
Select Primary or Backup to
specify whether the disk pool storage group stores primary or backup
copies of archived data. For the example, the type for the disk pool
is Primary. Click OK to
create the disk pool definition.
