It is no problem from the point of the recovery that the obtained cast-out lock cannot be released. Unless RCVNEED nor RETRY appears for the area on DEDB Area Status list, the recovery is normally completed. But the structure might have an error after the recovery. Examine the return and reason codes of the IXLCACHE REQUEST=UNLOCK_CASTOUT macro, determine the cause of the problem, and take proper action.
