Locating your workspace in previous versions

To find the location of your current workspace for versions 9.5.x and 9.1.x of the product, choose one of the following methods.

1. If you still have the product installed:
   1. In the workbench, select File > Switch workspace > Other. The default value in the dialog window is the directory of your current workspace location.
   2. To find the workspace location of an individual resource, such as a project:
      1. In the workbench, switch to the Navigator view: click Window > Show View > Other. Expand General and select Navigator. Click OK.
      2. Right-click the name of the resource and select Properties.
      3. In the left pane, click Resource. The location of the resource appears in the right pane. Make note of it so you can specify it as the workspace that you want to migrate after installing the current product.
2. If you have already uninstalled the product:
   1. If you accepted the default location when you installed, your workspace is in the directory X:\Documents & Settings\your userid\IBM\rationalsdp\workspace, where X is the drive where your installation directory is located.
   2. If you did not accept the default location when you installed, search for a directory called .metadata. Every workspace directory contains a metadata directory; the directory in which .metadata appears is usually your workspace.
