Product overview

This product offering provides two separate packages: IBM® Maximo® Archiving with InfoSphere® Optim™ Data Growth Solution (Maximo Archiving) and IBM Maximo Archiving Adapter for InfoSphere Optim Data Growth Solution (Maximo Archiving Adapter).

Maximo Archiving is a complete bundled package that includes both the InfoSphere Optim Data Growth Solution 11.3 product and the Maximo Archiving Adapter component. Included in this package are the text files for updating InfoSphere Optim Data Growth Solution with the definitions for IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6. Maximo Archiving can archive and restore data. This product has it's own separate Knowledge Center that contains the documentation for this package.

Maximo Archiving Adapter is a component of Maximo Archiving. Use this adapter package when you already have InfoSphere Optim Data Growth Solution 11.3 installed and you need to install or update the access definitions for IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6. Maximo Archiving Adapter can archive and restore data. Documentation is provided for this component under the Maximo Archiving with InfoSphere Optim Data Growth Solution section in Knowledge Center.
