The functions that are required to export asset data to
the InfoSphere® Optim™ Data Growth Solution format
for the InfoSphere Optim Data Growth Solution archive
are listed in this section. You must check that these values are present.
About this task
You must verify the following elements before exporting data
from
IBM® Maximo® Asset Management.
Procedure
- Check that the export functionality is present:
- Select
- Search: ARCMAXRELATIONSHIP. This object structure is for the Maximo Asset Management export
functionality.
- Check that the Outbound Definition Class is set to
psdi.archive.procclass.ConvertXML. This is the class that provides the conversion
to the InfoSphere Optim Data Growth Solution
format.
- In the System Properties application, ensure that the mxe.int.globaldir
system property has a global value defined. Maximo Asset Management Multitenancy users must consult
their multitenancy manager to ensure that the mxe.int.globaldir system property
and the default tenant file directory are defined.
Results
When these elements are verified, you can export relationship
data to
InfoSphere Optim Data Growth Solution.
To export data, enable the
ARCMAXRELATIONSHIP object
structure for application export support for the Database Configuration
application.
When export for this object structure is added to database
configuration, the metadata for the selected objects are exported.
For example, to export data for the work order object, select that
object on the main tab. To export data for an entire industry solution,
such as the transportation industry solution, filter on the list tab
to show all the ‘PLUST’ tables, and export all the metadata.
