Stopping and restarting action services

After you make any change to the configuration of the Monitor action services, you must stop and restart them so that the change can take effect.

Before you begin

Before you begin this task, you must log in to the WebSphere® Application Server administrative console.

About this task

To stop and restart the Monitor action services, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. From the WebSphere Application Server administrative console, click Applications > Enterprise Applications.
  2. Select IBM_WBM_ACTIONSERVICES.
  3. Click Stop.
  4. After the application has stopped, select IBM_WBM_ACTIONSERVICES again.
  5. Click Start.

Results

After the Monitor action services have restarted, all changes you made take effect.
