Starting IBM Installation Manager

If you start the installation of IBM® Rational® Software Architect Designer from the Setup disk, either by using the launchpad program or by running the userinst program, IBM Installation Manager automatically starts even if it is not already installed.

About this task

If you already installed Installation Manager, you can start it in one of these ways:

: Click Start > All Programs > IBM Installation Manager > IBM Installation Manager.
: Change to Installation Manager directory/eclipse and run IBMIM.
: Use Finder to browse to Installation Manager directory/eclipse and run IBMIM.
