When you use the Application Builder query API, ending
points are values that you extract from your data. That information is extracted in the response of
a search request that uses the query API.
For more information about the methods that resolve the search request, see the
table of methods that resolve search requests.
You can extract the following information in the search response:
- Metadata about the result set as a whole. For example, you can display the total number of
results that matched the search request.
- Information about one or more results (one or more entities). For example, for each result that
is returned, you can list all the values for a specific field, or list which entity instance
contains a specific value for a specific field.
- Aggregated information from refinements (facets). For more information about getting information
from refinements, see Application Builder Faceting API Overview.
