Advanced configuration of basic VM management
When you use the basic VM management, you can perform advanced configuration on the Advanced Server Settings panel. However, it is not usually needed.
Basic VM management does not usually require reconfiguring. However, you can change the
configuration parameters on the Advanced Server Settings panel. For more information, see: Advanced server settings. Apart from parameters on the
Advanced Server Settings, you can also configure the following two parameters in the VM Manager Tool configuration file:
vmm_rmi_ssl_port and vmm_rmi_protocol. For more
information, see: VM Manager Tool configuration parameters.
Important: Do not modify
other parameters in the VM Manager Tool configuration file as
they will be overwritten by changes that you make on the Advanced Server Settings panel.
Any customization can significantly impact the server and its performance. Thus, ensure that every configuration is carefully considered and needed.
