There are some stored procedure features in the workbench
that are designed specifically for DB2® for z/OS® stored procedures. In addition,
there are some setup steps that you should complete.
Prerequisites for developing routines that target DB2 for z/OS
You must install and configure the necessary prerequisites
before you can develop routines that target DB2 for z/OS.
In addition to the server-specific prerequisites described in this
section, you must also complete general routine prerequisites.
Versioning DB2 for z/OS native SQL stored procedures
You can use the workbench to create a new version of a
native SQL stored procedure for DB2 for z/OS. You can create a new version
from a data development project, or you can create a new version from
the Data Source Explorer. This function is supported only for DB2 z/OS 9
or higher.
