Studio web console to monitor health
and availability and to create and manage jobs on your DB2® for Linux, UNIX, and Windows and DB2 for z/OS® databases.
Before you begin
- Before you can open Data Studio web console from within the workbench, you must install and configure Data Studio web console.
- To connect to Data Studio web console,
you need the URL of the Data Studio web console server and the
credentials of a user that is authorized to access the web console. Tip: You can store the login information in your workbench preferences so that you do not have to enter it each time you open the Data Studio web console. The preferences are in the Preferences window in .
About this task
You can integrate Data Studio web console with the workbench to use the health pages of the web console to view alerts, applications, utilities, storage, and related information. You can use the job manager pages to create and manage script-based jobs across your databases. You can also schedule scripts as jobs directly from the SQL script editor.
Procedure
To open the Data Studio web console:
- From within the workbench, you can open the Data Studio web console from the Administration
Explorer, the Task Launcher, or the SQL script editor.
