The typical silent installation path is to use
the Installation Manager installer
to install Installation Manager, and then to use Installation Manager to
record a response file, then to silently install software packages.
Optionally, you can use the Installation Manager installer
to install Installation Manager and
software packages at the same time. When you install in silent mode,
the user interface is not available; instead, a response file inputs
the commands that are required to install the software packages.
