Configuring the IBM Data Studio client for remote operations
To run SQL statements, utilities, and commands, or to browse and access files on remote servers from the IBM Data Studio client, you must ensure that the DB2® Administration Server (DAS) or Secure Shell (SSH) protocol and Secure File Transfer (SFTP) protocol are properly configured.
