Customizing the troubleshooting applications

Before you run the troubleshooting applications of the z/OS® Network Custom App, customize them for your environment.

For an example of how to customize a troubleshooting application, see Customizing the troubleshooting applications. To update the parameters for a z/OS Network Custom App troubleshooting application, edit the following file:
LA_INSTALL_DIR/AppFramework/Apps/zOSNetworkInsightPack_v1.0.0.0/syslogd_on_zOS_Troubleshooting.app
This application definition is a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) file that specifies the following information:
  • The script that runs the custom logic
  • The parameters to pass to the script
  • The output charts to display in the dashboard
