To uninstall the agent, stop it, remove its service and
registry keys, and delete its files.
Before you begin
You must be an administrator to uninstall an agent.
Procedure
- Change to the directory that hosts the agent.
- Stop the agent. You can stop the agent from
the command line or from the server. To stop the agent from the command
line, use the following commands:
- If the agent is running as a service on Windows,
remove the service and registry keys.
- Change to the C:\installed_agent\bin\service folder,
where installed_agent is the location of the agent.
- Remove the service by running the following command:
_agent.cmd remove service_name
Use the name of the
service for service_name. To find the service name, open the
services view and find the entry that starts with IBM UrbanCode™ Deploy
Agent. The service name is in parentheses in this entry.
- Delete the agent installation directory.
