Tracking the risk in release applications

You can assign a risk level of red (high risk) yellow (medium risk) or green (low risk) to applications.

Before you begin

Create a release and add one or more applications to it.

Procedure

  • Follow these steps to assign a risk level to applications:
    1. Click the navigation list arrow, click Releases & Deployments, and then click the release.
    2. In the Participating Applications table, in the Risk column, click Update Risk.
    3. Specify a risk level for the application by clicking High, Medium, or Low.
    4. In the Reason for Update field, specify a description for the risk level.
    5. Click Save.

    Results

    The risk level appears in the Risk column of the table, as shown in the following figure:

    You can hover the mouse over a risk level to see the reason for the risk, as shown in the following figure:
