Installing the Health Center client

You must install the Health Center client before installing an agent.

Before you begin

For information about software requirements, supported operating systems, and the Health Center functions that are available with each release of IBM® SDK, Java™ Technology Edition and IBM SDK for Node.js, see Platform requirements.

Procedure

Install the Health Center client by using one of the following methods:

  • Install the client by using Eclipse Marketplace.
    Follow the Eclipse Marketplace instructions to find and install the tool.
  • Install directly into Eclipse.
    Follow the instructions in the Eclipse documentation for installing new software, using the following URL for the software site: 
    http://public.dhe.ibm.com/software/websphere/runtimes/tools/healthcenter/
  • Download and install IBM Support Assistant Team Server, which includes Health Center in its tools catalog.
