Applying an interim fix

An interim fix is a cumulative collection of fixes that is released between scheduled refresh packs, manufacturing refreshes, or releases. An interim fix updates the system to a specific maintenance level.

Installing a interim fix on Sterling B2B Integrator V5.2.6 and higher might include updating Sterling B2B Integrator V5.2.6 and Global Mailbox installation with interim fix that contains updates to Sterling B2B Integrator, Global Mailbox, Cassandra, ZooKeeper, database schema, or any one of them.

You can install an interim fix either with the user interface or with a response file. To install with the user interface, see the following topic. For information to install with a response file, see Installing or updating with a response file.

Uninstalling an interim fix is a complex and manual process. To uninstall an interim fix, contact IBM Support by creating a Problem Management Record (PMR).
