Configuring IBM Tivoli Monitoring to forward events

If you configure IBM Tivoli Monitoring to forward events to an event server, this version of ITCAM for SOA includes a kd4.baroc and kd4.map file that you can use to define the events that are generated by the ITCAM for SOA monitoring agent. These files are both available on the IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager for SOA installation media in the \kd4\tec directory on Windows® and in the /kd4/tec directory on Linux®, AIX®, HP-UX, and Solaris.

These files are also copied to the following directory locations on the computer where Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server is installed:

On Windows operating systems, the kd4.map file and kd4.baroc file are in the <ITM_Home>\CMS\TECLIB directory, where <ITM_Home> is the directory where you installed IBM Tivoli Monitoring.
On Linux, AIX, HP-UX, and Solaris operating systems, the kd4.map file and kd4.baroc file are in the <ITM_Home>/tables/<ms_name>/TECLIB directory, where <ms_name> is the name of the monitoring server.
