To create VSS snapshot backups of NTFS or ReFS file systems and applications, use Tivoli® Storage FlashCopy® Manager. When you back up applications and file systems, Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager must access the data. If there are permissions that must be granted for Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager to access the data, see the documentation that is provided with the application and file system.
