What to do next
When the Hardware Management Console
(HMC) is at Version 9.1.0, or later, you can use the
mksyscfg command to create a logical partition that supports the Physical Page
Table (PPT) ratio. During Live Partition Mobility, the
Physical Page Table (PPT) ratio is used to translate effective addresses to physical real addresses.
PPT is the ratio of the physical memory of the partition and is used by the hypervisor for paging
during Live Partition Mobility. To view the PPT ratio
attribute of the logical partition, run the lshwres command.
