Verifying that your connection to service and support is working
Test problem reporting to ensure that connection to service and support is working.
To verify that your call-home configuration is working, do
the following:
- In the navigation area, click Service Management.
- In the Work area, click Create Event.
- select Test Automatic problem Reporting and type a comment.
- Click Request Service. Wait a few minutes for the request to be sent.
- In the Service Management window, select Manage Events.
- Select All open problems.
- Verify that there is a PMH event and number assigned to the problem number you opened.
- select that event and select Close.
- On the Close window, type your name and a brief comment.
