Verifying that the destination server supports vNIC adapters

To migrate an AIX®, IBM® i, or Linux mobile partition that contains vNIC adapters, verify that the destination server supports vNIC adapters by using the Hardware Management Console (HMC) command line.

To verify that the destination server supports vNIC adapters, run the following command from the HMC command line: 
lssyscfg -r sys -F capabilities
If the output contains vnic_dedicated_sriov_capable, the destination server supports vNIC adapters.
