Determining the reserved storage device size in the destination server
To ensure that you can perform the suspend operation on partitions that are capable of suspension, you must determine the size of the storage device on the destination server. The size is based on several configuration attributes. You can run the lsrsdevsize command from the HMC command line to determine the size of the storage device on the destination server. The Suspend/Resume feature for logical partitions is supported on POWER8® processor-based servers when the firmware is at level FW840, or later.
