You can use the following table to determine the service requirements for the location of your system within a rack.

* If you are servicing a system that is in the service position, place the service tools in the following position to increase accessibility:
  • Place the lift tool near the side of the system farthest away from the part that you are replacing.
  • Place the platform ladder near the side of the system closest to the part that you are replacing.
