Overview

The LSI SAS 9206-16e 6 Gb/sps host bus adapter is a PCI Express (PCIe) generation 3 (Gen3), SAS 4-port 6 Gb/s Adapter. The adapter provides high performance achieving over 1 million Input/Output Operations for Second (IOPS) for high-end servers and storage applications. This SAS adapter provides high performance capabilities and supports the attachment of serial-attached SCSI (SAS) disks and SAS solid-state drives through four mini SAS HD (high density) connectors.
