VM66296: STANDALONE DUMP SUPPORT FOR 80 LOGICAL PROCESSORS

Error description

• Support required in z/VM 7.1.0 Standalone Dump to dump
  processor data for more than 64 logical processors.
  Currently, stand-alone dump supports up to 64 processors.
  Support is added to dump up to 80 logical processors,
  which z/VM CP supports if APAR VM66265 is installed.

  Currently, z/VM stand-alone dump supports dumping z/VM CP
  systems with up to 64 logical processors.  This APAR provides
  support required to dump processor data for systems with up to
  80 logical processors which z/VM CP supports if APAR VM66265 is
  installed and CP is running on a IBM z14 (D/T3906) or higher.

Comments

• The SADU71 IMAGE file is changed to dump up to 80 logical
  processors.  DUMPLOAD and DUMPLD2 already support dumps with
  up to 80 processors.  z/VM CP APAR VM66265 changes VM Dump
  Tool to support dumps with up to 80 processors.
