GIFSGATE is an interface between Sterling Gentran:Server for iSeries and the Integrated File System (IFS). The IFS gateway is installed as a standard part of Sterling Gentran:Server for iSeries, and no additional installation procedures are required.
The IFS gateway is logically positioned between the Sterling Gentran:Server communications queues and the IFS files that serve as the hand-off point between Sterling Gentran:Server and an external software product.
