1. ABOUT THIS RELEASE

This release of Sterling B2B Integrator is a Feature Fix Pack. This means that although it is a fix pack (a minor release) it also contains some new features and functionality.

For detailed information about this release, including enhancements, fixes, and known issues, see the following sections.

2. DOWNLOAD THE MEDIA FILE
=====================================================================
Upgrading an existing installation of Sterling B2B Integrator
Current customers who have already purchased a Sterling B2B Integrator V5.2.6 license who want to apply V5.2.6.1 as a fix pack, can download and install the V5.2.6.1 media from Fix Central:

UNIX and Windows	iSeries
Media_IM_5020601.zip SDK_5020601.zip	patch_SI_5020601.jar

Installing a new instance of Sterling B2B Integrator
New customers should follow the instructions for obtaining new product media from IBM Passport Advantage provided by your IBM Sales representative. New media for V5.2.6.1 (download file or physical DVD) will be available Jan 29, 2016.

Current customers who have already purchased a Sterling B2B Integrator V5.2.6 license, who want to install a new instance of Sterling B2B Integrator V5.2.6.1, can download and install the V5.2.6.1 media from Fix Central.
IMPORTANT: Be aware that installing V5.2.6.1 as a new instance, instead of as a fix pack on V5.2.6, counts against your total license allotment, and is subject to the same licensing guidelines and audit processes as any other installed instance of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.

3. WHAT'S NEW
=====================================================================
Sterling B2B Integrator contains the following new features:

• Stack updates - Oracle 12c RAC is now supported (upgrades only)
• Security Updates
• HealthCheck V1.0.3.1
• Sterling File Gateway V2.2.6.1

Security Updates
There are several security updates available with the latest release of Sterling B2B Integrator. See section 5. APAR Fixes for more information.

HealthCheck V1.0.3.1
HealthCheck is a utility for IBM® Sterling B2B Integrator. You can use HealthCheck to identify and analyze issues, errors, or incorrect configurations in Sterling B2B Integrator. HealthCheck V1.0.3.1 features a new Password Scanner, new test properties and features, and an updated user interface. Among other enhancements, this updated user interface means that HealthCheck can now be used in Internet Explorer. For more information, see the Health Check Tool documentation.

Sterling File Gateway 2.2.6.1
The following updates are available with the most recent version of Sterling File Gateway:

• IBM Partner Engagement Manager Integration
• Listening Producer API

4. DISK SPACE REQUIREMENTS AND SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
=====================================================================
This release of Sterling B2B Integrator requires approximately 2.5 GB for the Installation wizard files, 2 GB for the Sterling B2B Integrator JAR file and 1.5 GB for the Sterling B2B Integrator patch JAR file.

Additional installation space requirements include:

• Minimum requirement for memory spaces (RAM) 4 GB
• Minimum requirement for disk space 15 GB

The following stack updates have been made in this release:

• Added support for Oracle 12c RAC

NOTE: You can only use the fix pack download of V5.2.6.1 (available on Fix Central) with an upgraded version of Oracle 12c RAC. New installs of Oracle 12c RAC will not work with V5.2.6.1 unless you complete a fresh installation.

NOTE: You can still use an SID with Oracle 12C RAC and V5.2.6.1 but you must use a work-around in order to do so. For more information, see System Requirements.

NEW INSTALL: DVD media will be available from Passport Advantage on Jan 29, 2016. For step-by-step instructions on installing this release as a new installation, see Installing and Upgrading (V5.2.6 or later).
