  1. Deadlocks in Initiate Master Data Service for SQLServer
    We set up our IBM Initiate Master Data Service environment with SQL Server and are seeing deadlocks on the mpi_memhead table during heavy load. Why are we getting them and how can we prevent them? OR We set up our IBM Initiate Master Data Service environment with SQL Server and are seeing slow memput performance with occasional deadlocks being reported in the engine logs while the memgets are running fast. Why are we getting them and how can we prevent them?
  2. Security Bulletin: Privilege Escalation and Cross Site Scripting vulnerabilities in IBM InfoSphere MDM Collaborative Edition (CVE-2014-8896, CVE-2014-8897, CVE-2014-8898, CVE-2014-8899)
    Privilege Escalation vulnerability in IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management - Collaborative Edition could allow an escalation of privilege attack. Cross Site Scripting vulnerabilities in IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management - Collaborative Edition are caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can use a specially crafted URL to run scripts in a victim's web browser within the security context of the hosting website after the URL is clicked. An attacker can use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
  3. Slow search performance when using IBM® InfoSphere® Master Data Management Collaboration Server query language involving Spec-driven attributes of type lookuptable, which are marked as indexed
    Search performance might be slow when the defined search query on multiple attributes involves a spec-driven attribute of type lookuptable, which is marked as "indexed" in the spec.
  4. InfoSphere MDM fix packs must only be downloaded from IBM Fix Central
    For security reasons, InfoSphere MDM fix pack downloads are no longer offered through the automatic update site. As a result, you can no longer use IBM Installation Manager to automatically download InfoSphere MDM fix pack repositories. This includes fix packs for InfoSphere Custom Domain Hub and InfoSphere Reference Data Management.
  5. Job Manager Error - Failed to connect to the JMX port on server
    When connecting to a local server using the Job Manager in either the MDM Development or MDM Configuration perspectives in the InfoSphere MDM Workbench in Rational Application Developer, the following connection error is received: Job Manager Error: Unable to connect to server "WebSphere Application Server v8.5 at localhost".: Failed to connect to the JMX port on server "WebSphere Application Server v8.5 at localhost"
