Abstract

This document provides links to the information resources that are available for IBM Content Manager Version 8.5 (Enterprise Edition and z/OS). It also includes information for IBM Content Manager Collaboration Services, IBM Content Integrator Enterprise Edition, and Content Manager Records Enabler. The resources are organized according to the progression of key customer tasks.

IBM Content Manager Enterprise Edition (Content Manager EE) Version 8.5 provides a wide range of new features, for example, remote configuration deployment, updated retention management capabilities, IBM Text Search Server support, enhanced transport layer security support, ACL improvements, synchronous replication, usage-based license statistics, updated versions of Microsoft Office XML formats, event handler toolkit, improved support for 64-bit platforms, and other enhancements.

These articles describe the IBM Content Navigator web client. This client provides users with a console for working with content from multiple content servers. IBM Content Navigator also enables users to create custom views of the content on the web client by creating teamspaces, which provide a focused view of the relevant documents, folders, and searches that a team needs to complete their tasks. IBM Content Navigator also includes a powerful API toolkit that you can use to extend the web client and build custom applications.
