Abstract

IBM Encryption Pattern for Security First SPxBitFiler-IPA provides encryption of data-at-rest data associated with your deployed virtual system patterns and virtual applications patterns in the IBM PureApplication System and IBM PureApplication Service environments.

Security First SPxBitFiler-IPA is a software application from Security First Corp. that is supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Microsoft Windows, and AIX operating systems.

Operating at the kernel level to achieve both maximum performance and ease of use, Security First SPxBitFiler-IPA transforms data management by weaving security directly into the data at the bit level by encrypting and splitting the data. This creates a solution with highly available, protected data that is only accessible with proper credentials.
